Last few days of summer 2018

I think Life is better in summers as there are more variety in clothes to wear. Lolll..

What change do you see during this seasonal transition??

For me, the change from summer to winter season is a gradual one. There are, however, three main fashion-related areas that let me know when the seasons are changing: my dresser, walking the mall, and television commercials.

When the weather starts to get colder, and the air becomes crisp, I start to notice a few new items entering my closet and drawers. Slowly, the short-sleeved T-shirts and tank tops are replaced by long-sleeve T-shirts, then the shorts and skirts are kicked out by the long pants and jeans, and finally the big bulky sweatshirts and sweaters claim their territory.

While walking the mall and looking at the clothes on display, I can usually tell that winter is on the way. The racks filled with skimpy, flesh-showing cloths slowly turn into thick bulky fabric. The thin clothes that once hung nicely next to each other are now being crammed side by side to share room for the massive clothes. Although, sometimes the mall can play tricks on a customer. Interestingly, the mall stores sell summer clothes in the winter, and winter clothes in the summer. Why? Because they are trying to get the people ready for the upcoming season. Therefore, I do not always rely on the mall to let me know that the weather is like outside.

So I need to wear all my mid year outfits I have picked before these days simply take off.

I spotted this floral top at New Look, and I knew I had to get it. I mean it’s so cute! And the baggy pants are a new favourite/staple in my wardrobe. I got them from Mango! Love the high waist belt attached to it. Absolutely versatile. To finish up I went ahead and teamed my black sling from stelatoes with basic patent heels.
